Anyone who plays fantasy football should know who Mike Sims-Walker is by now. If you don’t know him, he’s the Jaguars leading receiver in every category, which has made him a great waiver wire pick up this season. Anyway this past Sunday most of us woke up out of our hangovers to find that Sims-Walker was inactive for week 5 due to a violation of team policy. If you’ve been wondering why The Jaguars suspended Sims-Walker it looks like we finally have our answer:
Michael C. Wright of the Florida Times-Union reports that MS-Dub missed bed check on Friday night “due to a visit with a female friend that went a little long.” One of Wright’s NFL sources described the situation by saying “undefeated and untied.” I have no idea what that means, but it sounds like it was worth it.
So there you have it, the guy was banging some chick and he was so hammered that he couldn’t bust a nut. Either that or he finished and she offered to make him a sandwich. Whatever it was I think this is a perfectly acceptable excuse to miss “bed check”. I personally would feel very uncomfortable with Jack Del Rio coming to tuck me in every night anyway.
